I don't understand this...

I simply don't understand this. Why is it so important to these people to have their religion taught as science at the public's expense? Don't they have evenings at home and all Sunday to indoctrinate their kids with this baloney?

I guess the root of my inability to understand this is my agnosticism. Perhaps if I was an Islamic fundamentalist then the reasoning behind creationism would be obvious. However I suspect an Islamic fundamentalist would be fairly pissed by having his kid taught protestant christian dogma in a public school. These creationists really need to get wacked once or twice with a clue stick.
