Racism, conservatives, and reality.

You don't think that in a conference on racism, religion, the US Congress, and the like, there might not be issues of blacks, OR whites, maybe the Jews or Christians might want to meet together, or there might be a Republican caucus which excludes Democrats? That's not reasonable?

This thread is a super way to demonstrate that the historical racism of conservatives lives on. Look at 'em hoot at something they think, on the surface is truly silly.

This ain't random - if it were a conference on Protestant ecumenicalism and the Southern Baptists wanted to confer by themselves, people would think that's reasonable. Whatcha wanna bet the Baptists get together without the Lutherans to decide some issues 'mongst themselves?

And, undeniably racist. Blacks are "idiots" because they might want to discuss something at a conference on racism without whites present. But the Baptists wouldn't be, would they.

As if coming to grips with issues such as slavery is easy for anyone. Christians certainly haven't - slavery was practiced with the FULL blessing of most Christian churches and sects.

And if it were me, I might want to discuss that issue in the absence of the heirs of the slaveholders.

Thanks for the post. It sure brought out the true colors. Blacks are "idiots" for wanting to discuss slavery without whites present. In an undeniable fashion. Great thread to save.

Arf (it's too easy. they do it to themselves. i just have to report it. heh, heh.)
