<-the Republicans who deride Democrats for corruption the most do so because they themselves are the most corrupt of all.

Not the most corrupt of all but rather have corruption within them - The degree of their rampant emotions are the telltale sign. I think there are clearly examples one can point to, where the pot was calling the kettle black.


-those who oppose abortion with great fervor do so because they themselves want to kill their children.

Well, those who are fanatical about the sacredness of all life and rant and rave - have indeed been known to kill others proving indeed they do not value all life as highly as they may believe. (i.e. abortion doctors) So I think again the mirror principle is served - even if not in the exact same form as "kill their children."


-homophobes are gay.

Homophobes indeed may be afraid they are gay. The ones who lash out violently at homosexuals may do so out of a need to confront and deny their own leanings. Sort of like black on black crime. Gay beatings are more often than not gay on gay crimes. How many times ever has a woman beat up a gay men?


-the more frequently one goes to church, the weaker one's faith is.

This one doesn't apply...because going to church is not necessarily an emotional act...now if on the other hand the person is an evangelist and tells others to have faith and rants and raves about evil, etc...well that's another story. The Jerry Falwells, Reverend Jacksons, Jim and Tammy Bakers of the world are mute testimony to the mirror principle.

The mirror principle is keyed in on imbalance. Facts are unemotional things. If one is wildly emotional about something to the point it drives your life and actions - you can bet that you are not on equilibrium and are somehow blind to a whole aspect on whatever it is that sets one off. Eaxh is learning to attain that equilibrium and live with peace of mind.

Peace of mind can only arrive when evil has no power over one - and that can only happen when one truly understands what evil is as an imbalanced expression.

Then one doesn't get bent all out of shape but one can walk through Hades from one end to another unsinged. All the demons and their vices can't even touch one - because they need an emotion - a negative bias - to latch on to as a key to your consciousness.
