But it was this that really baffled me:
Current U.S. admin officials are ignoring any and all communiques from Iraq as virtual hem-hawing. They await the official documentation from Iraq, and the official reports from the U.N. inspectors.
No they're not. Didn't you hear about Bush preemptively dismissing the inspections as meaningless? Preemptive strikes seem to be Dubya's preferred MO these days, don't they?
