Perhaps

I have been waiting for the other shoe, it is coming. We have disrupted the flow of cash, weapons, material and personnel to the point the enemy ( I stopped naming them, we all know ho they are) is having a hard time getting it together.

But! like a Fer-de-Lance that you managed to pull the fangs out just as it gets away, they are biding their time, growing a new set of fangs, with virulent poison. They’re still out there, the constant arrests of cells worldwide is proof enough.

Tom, you’ve posted enough news reports to understand that.

The Enemy has shown repeatedly they has the ability to regroup, reorganize and strike again, each time a little deeper, a little harder.
I have serious doubts the funding has stopped, there are simply too many conduits it flows through. From Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Algeria even Kuwait it comes, provide by a few rich families who are dedicated to the destruction of the West.
Weapons are easy to acquire, volunteers are a dime a dozen in the refugee camps and ghettos in the Mid-East. Osama bin Laudin may be dead, or not, even if he is, someone else has or will take his place.
Psychotic Megalomaniacs in the guise of ‘Religious Leaders’ have never been in short supply, no matter which faith it is.

I have come to the conclusion our Government is handling the situation badly, we may be winning the military phase, but we are losing the Psychological war.
The hatred of the West runs deeper than ever. Holding out the threat of Military Action simply builds resentment, combined with action on Economic and Political fronts would bring far more results. But, these actions have to be made in a coordinated move.
One without the other two is ineffective. It is easy to change locations, and there are simply too many places to hide.
It has to be done in a carefully planned manner, if done correctly, they would never know what hit them until it was far to late.

This means an overwhelming military, economic and political strke has to be made at carefully chosen targets. Not the obvious targets like Hussain, but the harder targets. Not pleasant, we are going to see Black Plastic bags coming home with remains in them, and collateral damage. Even the finest precision weapons do not discriminate when they detonate.

I don’t want to see it, it makes me sick to think of what our young men and women will go through.
But in my heart of hearts, I know it has to be done, or a constant flow of news about this or that terrorist attack will begin to increase. Along with body counts of people who were just simply living their lives.

The most important action we could take right now is to force Israel and the Palestinians to the negotiating table, make the constant PLO, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and other terrorist attacks stop. Force the Israelis to evaluate their methods of retribution. Once that smoldering conflict has been put out, then we move on to other hot spots in the region.

The threat is real, it will come again, sooner or later, maybe not on US soil, but it will come.
