The Bush Administration has been warning and warning and warning US that doom is near.

It's an old trick, used by politicians and leaders everywhere. Make people afraid of an external enemy, and cast yourself as the only way to save the day, the only person who can prevent catastrophe.

There has been one attack on American soil, and that one occurred because the CIA, FBI and National Security Advisor dropped the ball. As the whistleblower said, they knew enough to have prevented it.

But, GWB has to keep the country's mind on terrorism, because nothing else is going well.
