Excellent point made here. The only solution to the tribal divides in to substitue another authoritarian rule to fill the vacuum removal of Saddam would bring.
The most rational way of doing this would be the elimination of the existence of Iraq.
Splilt up the real estate to reward US support in the region.
Give a large portion of the contingent property to Turkey as reparation for the Bush I, Gulf War damage to their economy.
Give tiny Jordan and Qtar some real estate so ninth graders would be able to find them on a map.
Give Kuait a good hunk to build new casino's on.
If we eliminate Iraq, there would no longer be an Iraqui problem by definition.
