Where the opinions of the governed count, there is nothing to guide all opinions to agree with yours (even as irrefutably correct as your opinions always are). Get used to it (as opposed to: "do something about it").

You can jump from one means of hand-wringing to another, about it (ala "numbers too small to count", "lead by / funded by extremists", "useful idiots", "forces of evil", etc.). But at the end you must admit that a lot of folks think that you are the ones who have it wrong.

So we can't get unanimous support from the UN for our invasion? The UN is broken!

When you all get to where you can no longer tolerate the majority of Americans disagreeing with you, we are in big trouble. The Patriot Act guarantees that the administration doesn't need that inconvenient judicial check on executive power to spy on its citizens.
