Here's a link to Direct Action to Stop the War, one of the organizers of the protests. The large numbers of protesters might be little more than well meaning but sadly deluded dubes. No doubt many others were there because it was the cool thing to do. However, the ones pulling the strings behind the scenes are anything but well meaning. In political circles, the saying goes to "follow the money" to find the truth. With these 'anti-war' protests, check out the organizers. The fact that they began organizing against the US within days of the 9-11 attacks says a lot, a least to me and quite a few others.
As for the rest of your post, I already addressed the fallacy of public opinion. The rest is little more than the same old blather.
