Yes and Yes.

I completed an MS in Logic and Computation about 2 years ago at CMU and have been working here ever since in various research and software development projects for online education. Before that I got a bachelors in Philosophy at a midwestern university (oklahoma state).

CMU and OSU are both, in terms of student populace, quite conservative and there were a lot of objectivists to debate at both places, but I largely gave it [objectivist bashing] up when I found out people were simply memorizing crap off the web and spouting it at me. I figgured it was pointless at that point. I memorized one of the 'threads' the published on their web site and started finishing peoples arguments for them... Was fun, but a really sad exercise. That was about 6 years ago. Somehow I suspect you are asking for that reason.
