The foreign aid bit is an old statistical trick, using the amount of foreign aid as a percentage of GDP, not the actual amounts. Under these terms, Denmark is floating near the top of the list. More honest writers at least add the caveat.
Have you noticed how the leftist pundits are almost completely interchangable? I don't think Krugman missed a single one of the standard talking points, including the usual crap about "We all think Saddam needs to be thrown out," followed by the usual absolutely zilch about how he thinks it ought to be done.
