"Occasionally a hot button gets pushed, and we'll wade right in.
Other than that, if it's no longer fun, what's the point?"
Thats kind of what I was trying to say. The community has sort of nuked (and not with reason or fact, from what I have seen, but with personal attacks) the few liberals into quietude, and that is sad and, as a community, disfunctional.
When folks do 'wade in', there isn't much 'staying power', because I think people get so bitterly and personally attacked. I think thats wrong, and thats what I'm trying to point to.
Yes, I know Robert is not a conservative, but he is well spoken, reasonable and is still one of the reasons I stay.
"Other than that, if it's no longer fun, what's the point?"
I fear that I might reach that point myself, which is why I air my observations in public.
" a kind of fatigue does set in"
Again, thats what I was attempting to get accross. Obviously I failed.
Keep on abiding, Tony.
