The Mossad tricked the United States into bombing Libya during the Reagan years by sneaking into Tripoli a transmitter which was used to subsequently broadcast bogus data incriminating Qadaffi's regime in the 1986 Berlin disco bombing.

Note that the chemical factory article appears in the Jerusalem Post, and note also slight internal inconsistencies in the article itself, to say nothing of the lurid language meant to imply that something fishy was going on in this huge complex, "apparently used to produce chemical weapons" that the UN weapons inspectors managed to completely overlook, probably because it was swathed in "...sand-cast walls to make it look like the surrounding desert."
I wonder how those clever Iraqis managed to sand-swath the "the sheet metal-lined facility, which resembles the eery images of scientific facilities in World War II concentration camps?"
