The fundamental principles haven't changed.
Freedom and tyranny aren't any different now than they've ever been.
The dirty little secret is that this country worked pretty damn well without a lot of the statist and centralized crap we have now, the same crap we are told is absolutely essential to the existence of our nation.
And not 200 years ago, or in the last century, but in my own lifetime.
That's another place a lot of people don't want to go.
But by all means, think outside the box. I'd like to see people's ideas. But I have yet to see a utopian government idea that did not involve, at some point, enslaving the citizens. Including the archetypes that named the concept.
