If they are smart, they will recognize the fall of Hussain as a gift: Iran really won't have any enemies in the region now...

Except one: America camped out in Iraq.

Would Iran rather have Iraq as its proximate threat, or the US? You speak of Iran telegraphing its moves, but isn't that what Rice and Bolton just did?
