When I quoted extensive writings from the Founding Fathers showing that the right to bear arms was considered to be a right of the individual, scorn was heaped upon my head. So now you get to bring original writings into this to trump the wording of the Constitution? I think not! ;)
You know what I think? If I were living where you are, I would probably be more conservative than I am. If you were living here, you would have become much more liberal. That's because we both like to argue.
Actually, I think that rather than a love of argument, it's more that, like Jefferson, both of us have a hostility towards people who think they have a right to run other people's lives for them. Where I live, that's largely the Left. Where you live, it's the Right.
