Current Events » in reply to clinton reveals the shallowness of his legacy, in his own words.

So much wrong, so little time

"We can't run," Clinton pointed out. "If you got an interdependent world, and you cannot kill, jail or occupy all your adversaries, sooner or later you have to make a deal."

* There are many sides to this. 1st, when have "deals" with terror states worked? Like how about Clinton's deal with N Korea? And how well have "deals" with Arafat done to stop the sponsoring of suicide bombers in the Middle East?

He said he believed Washington overreacted to German and French opposition to US plans for military action against Iraq (news - web sites) and suggested that the current administration had trouble juggling foreign and domestic issues.

* It's overreacting when you have a written agreement that was personally discussed at the highest levels and your partners turn their back on it?

"Since September 11, it looks like we can't hold two guns at the same time," Clinton said. "If you fight terrorism, you can't make America a better place to be."

* Gee we seem to be arresting and convicting terrorists all over the world. Tell it to Abu Abbas.
Every one of these Islamofascists that's removed from society improves America the rest of civilization.

Clinton said that if he were at the White House right now he would scrap a 726-billion dollar tax cut proposal made by the president in January to stimulate the flagging economy.

* Yet another reason to be glad that he's gone. Apparently he and the DNC no longer believe in tax cuts like JFK and pre-Carter era Democratic presidents.
