Don:
"For the record the last deficit to ever get this bad was $290 million in 1992 during Bush Senior's term of office"
..
"Some private analysts have an even bleaker view of the budget, with some envisioning red ink this year totaling $425 billion."
Tom:
"Another assist: $300 billion in 2003 would be about $263.2 billion in 1996. "
Ummm, 300billion is the highest dollar amount ever- and thats as far as the QUOTE goes.
So is you point that Daddy Bush Was a worse spender than Baby Bush?
or maybe your point is that the 202 billion over-run in the first half of the year won't amount to 400 billion by the end of the second half and be higher than ANY in history NO MATTER HOW you tabulate the numbers....
Im sorry, Tom, your figures make things better for Bush how?
Do you need some more paint for your elephant?
God, it must be hard to persist believing blindly in the face of fact. But its fun to watch you try.
