when the stocks rose so nicely (along with every relevant Economic indicator) during the Clinton years, it was called a 'bubble' by 'you conservative types'.

In fact, by some accounts, it was the largest and most impressive Economic growth spurt since the WWII years.

Now that stocks are rising, but EVERY OTHER RELEVANT economic indicator remains depressed, negative or barely outpaces inflation, its the sign and symbol of dashing, stunning, amazing, miraculous economic recovery, at least according to 'you conservative types'.

I'll take my 8 years of 'bubble' economy back, please...

Look around you, REB. These are the worst economic times I have seen in my professional life. I am working for 20-30% less than what I am actually worth, and *damn* glad to have a job.

The only people where jobs are still findable is, well, the service sector.

Meanwhile, the federal deficit is projected to reach its highest level EVER (adjust all you want, theres no way to hide this elephant). The wonderful liars in Washington use the war as an excuse for this- a politically&militarily unneccessary and morally incorrect war, I might add. But odd, if you subtractid THIS YEARS (so far) cost of the war from THIS YEARS deficit, it still is about the highest deficit in history.

We are about to cut another 500billion off tax revenue over the next decade- mostly for the rich. But nobody talks about the cost of the war whilst evaluating this tax cut.

Things are going to hell in Iraq, we had to fire our entire 'team'.

Kidnappings and looting continue to worsen.

Soldiers are being shot in the back by snipers on the streets of Iraq.

In Baghdad, water and power are still not back on or reliable.

There are no fire-fighters even to put-out the fires started by the looters, and no water to do it with in anycase.

Suicide bombers are killing american citizens in S.Arabia.

Israel defies the US in trying to settle tensions in their part of the MidEast.

We have lost ALL political power and credibility in europe.

The EU has decided to accelerate plans to form a military treaty organization that will OBVIATE NATO, wrecking much of our power in the area.

The TONES of WMD claimed have never materialized.

North Korea shows NO sign of 'coming to heel' after we stoned one member of the 'axis of evil' to death.

We have 2 trash-heap looking trailers we CLAIM were Bio-reactors, but NO samples come back positive for any bugs.

Even as you speak freely about the wonders of this government, your rights to do so are being pruned by this government under the sign of patriotism. (patriot act)

But, as you are sure to claim, I am just a chicken-little Liberal looking for any excuse to 'tarnish' the glory of America and Bush, who has tried to make himself synonymous with America.

Seems like I don't have to look far. In fact, the conservatives are starting to sound like the Orchestra on the Titanic... Playing relaxing music while the ship goes down.

I love America, living in America, the land of America, the people of America. The social and Political tradition of America. But this administration and Congress has reacted to 9/11 by doing to America what the sept-11th acts could NEVER have done, did NEVER do- Make us international villains with a crumbling economy, shrinking freedoms, and absurd notions about correcting our problems.

I know, lets invade another third world country! That will make us great, noble and moral world-shaping leaders again!!
