Bush divided the international community. France is not only being booed, criticized but also despised by US citizens. The United Nation has been undermined.
Because Bush and Blair lied to their citizens and to the World.
And it already killed 5,000 people and will go on killing US soldiers as long as they remain in Iraq and kill Iraqi children when they step accidentally on unexploded coalition cluster bombs.
This is far far far worse than Watergate or Monicagate.
What the US should have done is not to have asked permission to the UN, nor any other country and stated that the reason was regime change.
It would go against the reason why the UN exists, but at least, everyone would have saved his face.
And, so far, the only thing that's true is that Iraq has been liberated from Saddam.
But many other problems remain.
