American's don't like being lied to. They will accept their politicians being wrong if their mistakes were reasonable. The polls clearly indicate the majority believe the later is the case. Iraq will not be a campaign issue unless clear proof of intentional misinformation is presented. Want to bet on it? The economy and tax cuts for the rich might be an issue though.
