K... the TOC doesn't indicate by color change which posts have already been opened. Clicking in and out of a post, I suddenly lost the bottom half of the TOC frame (but the scroll bar changed length to suit).
When first opened in standard mode, even at maximized, did not get full button bar (left margin). When lost bottom of TOC frame, also lost entire upper window, and now cannot switch back to compact mode without leaving the site and coming back.
