Even Bowser was as adamantly against Clinton's war efforts as he was Bush's. In fact, I would stipulate that few of the people I argue with here should even be considered "leftists" as such. Liberals, okay. I try not to use the term "leftist" lightly, and save "Marxist" for very special occasions, although I know I slip up now and then.

This is why it is regrettable that Mary Anne felt she was being dragged into the condemnations of the radical wing of the ALA, since if anyone is less of a knee-jerk leftist around here, it's her. In fact, as I recall, she is a registered Republican.
