We were already cutting back on state run programs, education, unemployment , the veterans program, homeland security, and every other conceivable expenditure just to pay for this war. That this money is going to Iraq for Bush's personal and religious fervor, while middle to lower class Americans find more financial hardship (or less and less dollars in the coffer for years to come) will NOT please the voters next time around, no matter what spin they put on it.
