Don't forget the tax cut.
Speaking of that tax cut....
Me and my gal do pretty durn good, 'specially since I have only been in the labor force a few years since getting my masters. I just got my first paycheck that reflects this great champion-of-the-midddle-class tax cut, and how much do you think I got back? What riches are flowing now?
About 1 meal out for the two of us at our favorite joint, per month, for my check. Less for hers.
Hazard a guess at what folks making over 6 figures are getting back?
;-)
In the end, its not the war that is driving our nation into financial ruin- its the Tax Cuts coupled with an economic 'plan' that hasn't been seens since the days of SNL de-regulation. You do remember that Republican fiasco, right?
And the billions-a-month that we spend in recondtruction is nothing compared to the wear-and-tear on our military resources. That 'hidden' cost of the war won't really be felt directly for awhile yet.
