Deliberately pick? Even you must have laughed aloud when you posted that one!

If you'll recall you and Fox were debating this article - one which I thought was the Gore whine article. This one just dropped into my lap like a gift - I didn't have to deliberately pick anything.

;-)

If you want to gloss over my points as "opinion" that's fine with me. I was secretly hoping you might find some major gaffe that I could edit before sending it in. You're usually pretty good at picking apart conservative viewpoints. Unfortunately, you clearly cut lots of folks on the left who write some slack and leave your skeptic cap on the shelf.

I'm not really jealous of Hanley's writing skills you know...that's just a tactic to reach the broad spectrum of Americans who still get there who's and whose mixed up. No one likes elitists. Even other elitists don't like elitists! Long articles with "heavy" topics discourage them - pointing out a writer's elitism makes them much more comfortable. ;-) Lots of journalists are clearly unhappy with Hanley's Pulitzer too - when so many real journalists deserved it much more. It goes to show how anything anti-American was of mega-merit prior to 9/11. Unfortunately, Hanley still knows that anti-Americanism is highly rewarded among the liberal elite - look where it has taken him!
