Larry wins the Moral Relativism award for this week.

This argument is really absurd.

The point is we have taken these americans and placed them in the line of fire. When they die, its because we placed them in that line of fire.

More people die every year from cancer, heart disease, accident and etc than from murder, does this mean murder is not a problem? More people loose property to fire, insolvency, entropy then from theft, does this mean that theft is not a problem?

You are correct that many of these deaths are accidental, and to be expected when you put a lot of tired soldiers in a foreign land on an unclear mission for indeterminint terms of service for unclear motives with lots of hazardous meterials (weaponry, etc).

But thats kind of the point larry- they are there because we put them there. If they die in that process, its because we put them there.

I don't know what plane of partisan political blindness you are from Larry, but a soldier dying in the line of duty has significantly different meaning than a statistical entity in DC.
