It is possible that I misunderstood your post

When you said The "alternatives" war critics often suggest are in fact approaches that have been already tried throughout the 1990s, which culminated in 3000 deaths on American soil on 9/11., did you not mean to imply that failing to invade Iraq earlier caused 9/11? It seems to me that you do, but if I'm wrong, please clarify, and I will promptly apologize.

The term "useful fool" is one that you find around here sometimes, but almost always directed by a right-winger at a left-winger. Sorry if you find it offensive, but if you truly believe that the invasion of Iraq had something to do with 9/11 [clarification pending], then the shoe does fit.

About your link, I wonder what about terrorism you think I don't know. If you think I need instuction in non sequitor crap like "Economically the only contribution they make is by selling natural resources which are available to them solely through luck.", or "They make no significant contribution to international science or engineering.", or etc. then you are wrong. Nobody needs that sort of an education.

So I guess you think that we are exactly on the right track. And now that we took down Saddam, terrorism will dwindle (as your link implies)? When can we expect to see these results? How long from today, if terrorism continues, will you start to eat a little crow?
