When you refer to people as "terrorist enablers" because they protest going to war, your intent is to demonize these people, not discuss whether or not their views are right or wrong.
You want to discuss the alleged "consequences" of people speaking their minds rather than discuss the consequences of what they propose. In a democracy that treasures free speech, that is a very dangerous way to think.
I have no problem with your vigorous disagreement with their views about the war. But calling people names and suggesting that they have responsibility for the bombing of innocent citizens because they exercise their god-given rights to speak out is very bad business indeed.
By the way, for the record, in the lead up to the war, I did not support the anti-war protestors and still don't today. My own views on the subject are quite simple...I believe it was wrong to conduct a pre-emptive war without the support of the U.N. I believe that doing so was a serious error in judgement that will have long term negative consequences for the interests of the United States and its citizen. And now, since the war, I have been deeply concerned that our President appears to have deliberately exaggerated the case for going to war in the first place. Those are my views. If you want to talk about them...lets do so.
