I would never stifle "debate"
Naturally, in your world Mr. "Skeptical," you wouldn't let people such as General Clark speak their minds. Nothing to see here folks...lets just move along...nothing to see.
I do not understand your belligerence and mockery here. Such hostility and ad hominem supposition can itself stifle "debate" with earnest opponents. You know nothing about me or "my world".
None of the news footage I saw of the anti-war protests suggested the participants were interested in anything approaching "debate". The meaning of "debate" itself is debatable, in fact.
As for nothing to see here folks, yes, I have noticed no anti-war protests against war and democide elsewhere in the world, like the millions who have died in the Congo over the last five years.
