CORRECTION: serious omission in cited quote by General Boykin
Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.
The cited quote from the AP report for which I could find no link should read:
"My comments to Osman Otto in Mogadishu were not referencing his worship of Allah but his worship of money and power; idolatry," Boykin said.
The key underlined phrase is the phrase I omitted in my post, above. I carelessly skipped a column line while transcribing.
