One thing the people really dislike
After all the carping and bellyaching about the war, the thing the people are going to reject at the polls is weakness. Except for Lieberman, everyone of the dems running for office projects nothing but irresolute weakness: Kerry who voted for it but now, Hamletesque, whines about it. Dean, who underneath his fiery spew is just saying he wants to cut and run. And the retired General, who has to eat his own words regularly in order to find a way to condemn the current path.
The others are simply chaff, blown by a psuedopopulist wind.
Bush is the only serious player who has stuck to his guns.
The people are going to respond positively to that.
