Will it be that hard to bring iceteroids in from the Kuiper belt, etc.?

Will it be that hard to bring iceteroids in from the Kuiper belt, etc.? Granted, this is a long term prospect but so is lunar colonization I guess. It could be that the iceteroids would be a cheaper source of water than mining the lunar surface would be, especially when the best parts are already mined. And presumably propulsion methods will improve the more that NASA incentivizes private industry without its usual sticky fingers.
