Notice how you consider a legitimate philosophical and political difference over the relationship between a citizen and society to be a crime. It's not hard to see the relationship to conservatives lately upping the ante and categorically declaring any disagreement to be treasonous.
Conservative demagogues aren't hiding their gloating, their feeling that finally "those damn liberals are gonna get what's coming to 'em". If liberal philosphy is criminal, then clearly the consequence is punishment.
And if the Left is being "suppressed" in this country, the suppressors are sure doing a crappy job of it.
Right on, Tom, it's clear that a lot of conservative demagogues want to do a better job of suppressing liberals. All they need is a little more power, and they're so close they can taste it.
you want to worry about "martial law," fine. I heard all the same crap through eight years of Reagan.
You might recall that General Tommy Franks raised the issue recently, as a result of a hypothetical terrorist attack. Is he another "Leftist Looney"?
