While watching Fox news this morning I switched over to MSNBS and Chris Matthew's from Hardball was talking to General Clark and Chris (not quoting) said; Some people are saying that by catching Saddam this justifies the reason for going to war, do you believe this justifies going to war in Iraq General Clark?
I couldn't believe I was hearing this. At a time in US history when the celebration of our troops was most warranted both of them proceeded to put a negative spin on this great accomplishment for there own political gain.
Our troops in Iraq have been taking a lot of scrutiny in Iraq and Afghanistan for not finding Saddam and UBL and this is the time to congratulate our special forces solders with full attention to there services.
Now that we caught Saddam maybe now we can send some of these special forces back to Afghanistan and finally catch UBL.
I'll keep an eye out for the transcript.
