The key term is surface solar radiation.
If the dimming is due to the sooty atmospheric polution particles absorbing the light then the energy is still being delivered to the atmosphere and in a probably higher efficency absorption. CO2 will still have the same effect it did before by trapping the re-radiated IR whether from land, sea, or aerosol soot.
Bottom line, this changes nothing with respect the possibility of
catastrophically intense global warming.
