Ok Scott-bot.

Scott-Bot,

I'd love to see somthing from a group who aren't appoligists for fossil fuel suppliers.

Greening Earth Society is a not-for-profit membership organization comprised of rural electric cooperatives and municipal electric utilities, their fuel suppliers, and thousands of individuals.

The page you linked is a beautiful example of misleading graphs. Lets try to play down the growth of atmospheric concentration of gas by focusing on the growth of emissions and NOT on the actual concentration.

Scott, have you ever had a differential equations class. I'm guessing that you, along with the web page designer/CO2 enthusiast never have.
If so, you'd understand that the solution to a constantly increasing system is an exponential increasing value.

To simplify, if (dx/dt = cx) then x(t) = exp^ct. This is an oversimplification of the actual solution but it illustrates the point of exponential increase.

But they seem to think that a CO2 abundant atmosphere is by definition a very good thing. Well, I hope they're right. We've certainly never been here before, as the titles states. CO2 concentrations have never been this high in 400,000 years at least and I'm supposed to believe that it's either a coincidence or that by definition it's a good thing? I'm not buying what they're selling...
