TOM: Rework our ridiculous regulatory system so that we can begin immediate development and construction of nuclear power plants--using modern technology, not 1950s reworks--to replace hydrocarbon plants. Reduce or remove regulations making it difficult or impossible to utilize non-conventional power sources. Remove any Federal funds and programs that subsidize the oil industry, and let the prices and costs of exploration rise to where they ought to be to encourage alternatives. Make reasonable laws pertaining to pollution that actually balance costs and results. Tell the idiots demanding 99.9999 percent results regardless of cost to sit down and shut up.
Tom, we agree on this... At least you had the sense not to argue with the facts...
Until we get fusion, nuclear is the way to go...Solar is nice but not reasonable for large scale... But the uneducated environuts see the word "nuclear" and pee in their pants- I detest their stupidity! They are a small step above Johannes...
And dont get me started about what I think of the EUs stance on GM foods....!
This is not a political issue- the left and the right are equally to blame: The right denies and ignores the problem, the radical left tree huggers oppose the only viable solution... meanwhile the sane among us watch the world warm and try to point out we need to something...
