For a really good time, run the charts all the way back to the beginning of Carter's presidency. Oddly, I can find few of these graphs that go back past 1993. Unemployment was about 10 percent before Reagan turned it around.

You better hope to God the unemployment numbers don't go down any more. It's the only straw the Democrats have left. Every other indicator is roaring.
