What explains European's failure to take notice of rampant UN failures if they are paying such close attention? And if you can't think of examples you aren't paying enough attention either. Most American's do not pay close attention to foreign affairs, but I see little evidence Europeans (at least those in France and Germany) pay real attention to historical lessons and events which do not match their world view.
