Only because your heart is in the right place. You have compassion for the Iraqis, no matter what the cause, and you see our invasion of Iraq as NOBLE, and believe in the moral judgement of pre-emption, even if there were NO WMD's, which is the reason we went in there in the first place. I didn't know we were in the business of taking over countries and building their infrastructures in the name of Democracy and Freedom. I'll bet when this is all said and done, Iraqis will have better access to health care than we do, compliments of the American taxpayer. Oh, and lists are being drawn up as to who supports the US. It's the US against the world. Bush is King and in his world, dissent will be tolerated less and less. Right now they're getting everyone in Iraq straight. So, the muslims will be blowing up our soldiers from now until whenever, but some of the Iraqis will honor that feeling of "freedom", so I guess I shouldn't be a spoil sport.
I'm an old hen Betsy. I've been around. I've been following the cast of characters from Iran Contra for 15 years now. I know what they think, what they do and how they do it. It's not legal, it's under the table. They break the law. They MAKE the law.
Oh, forget it. Let's bake some cookies for those lovely Iraqi children.
(P.S. This "venture" is costing us a fortune....to secure oil for the masses. And it's our children who will pay for it...oh, just forget that too. Where's the flour, milk and eggs?)
