Be careful....

Keith Cowing's stock-in-trade is NASA gossip and rumors. This story might be true but we don't know. The Bush administration has been pretty good about controlling news leaks. Why was this story leaked out? Maybe this is just "chum in the water" to judge public reaction. Quite frankly, I'm not too happy about NASA resources being wasted on the Moon again. I'd rather see us go peddle-to-the-metal to Mars and skip the Moon altogether. Don't trust this tale until Bush actually makes the speech and then look very closely at the fine print. Until now, Bush has never been very interested in Space Exploration.
