An interesting thing about these points of view.
Creationists, birthers, oil company shills, that sort of thing would pass lie detector tests at about the same rate as evolutionists and others believing the opposite.
Those who believe in the otherworldly origins of crop circles, UFOs, and the nefarious purposes of vapor trails would pass lie detector tests.
It's not that anyone is being untrue. Stupid, ignorant, unable to use their minds rationally because of overwhelming preconceptions, that's all possible.
But they aren't lying. Which is good, and sort of sad.
