I remember arguing with anti-war protestors.
This was early on, and I was completely convinced my government would not lie to me, that it would not invest lives and other resources in a cause which wasn't just and honorable.
And the problem is that the more you believe it, the angrier you are (I was) when it turns out to be untrue. That people were dying simply because of LBJs and then RMNs egos.
And no one will ever convince me that Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy weren't allowed to be killed because of their opposition to that war.
So there's one of my conspiracies. I believe it.
