Of course you are right.
Sometimes while watching a football game I'll switch teams to root for. It can be caused by something as silly as who is getting their butt kicked, or who had some bad calls go against them.
Truly, Tech comes up with some of the scariest pronouncements and makes up the silliest statistics, etc. And it is infuriating to try to have an intellegent debate with him (which puts him in good company, around here). But he seems to have flipped my underdog-switch, and I find myself feeling sorry for him.
