If the actual objective is for the commission to get information, what the hell do you care if it's public or not? Clinton and Gore also arranged for private meetings. Was that a problem?

However, the commission finding the truth isn't the real objective for the Democrats, is it? The objective is to use the commission as a political weapon, and give politicians another grandstanding opportunity in front of TV cameras, and for that you need public testimony, don't you?
