U.N. scandals: a commentary from Australia

Tom Brosz — 4/28/2004 3:27:53 AM (archived)

Here.

Wish this story was getting more mileage in the American media.

The United Nations is not qualified, morally or otherwise, to bring peace to a dogfight, much less major conflict zones on the planet. The sooner starry-eyed U.N. worshippers (including at least one presidential candidate) realize this and start thinking of alternatives (some variation of NATO?) the better off the planet will be.

The one U.N. guy working in Iraq is already starting to screw things up.
