To the Jew, it's the same. The hatred is the same. Your implication is that the one Jew's life isn't as tragically lost unless it's part of a larger whole. Many people would disagree, and might argue that the larger whole was composed of many indivuduals, each of whom held life as dear as anyone else.

And the punishment is usually the same. Hopefully, the Klansman will hang for one life as high as the SS man for 6,000,000.

I don't understand being able to discriminate between the quality of the one vs. the quality of the other. A bit like my rape analogy. Both are rapists. And the one is a hypocrite and rapist.

Unless in one it's the State, and in the other it's a voluntary group.
