re: Why?

He was the best person the Democrats had running. He is the only one that isn't a clown, and the only one who could run this country.

They were a bad bunch, weren't they? Kinda reminded me of Gramm, Dole, Forbes.....
At leas with Bush, McCain, Forbes, Keyes etc you had one guy who was able to shine out above the rest. Shame he didn't win...
What has Leiberman ever done (more than Kerry) tha t showed you he was fit to be President?
Maybe he is. I don't know, but I certainly think he was not electable.

I probably wouldn't have voted for him over Bush, but I seriously considered him. Who know, he might have persuaded me, or Bush might have ticked me off about something, but I guess I won’t have a choice now. Perhaps in 2008.

I have a hard time beleiving that you would vote for anyone over Bush giving your swallowing of everything that comes out of the White House these days.

Kerry is a joke. No leadership, no vision and he flip-flops all over the place. Put him back in the water.

Leadership, I'll beg to differ.
Vision, unfortunately I have to agree. Still waiting.
Flip-flops? No more than your average pol. Certainly no more than the incumbent. But I guess the label has stuck while Teflon George is apolitical, unswerving, determined, not poll-driven.....sorry, can't type for laughing.

Joe has strength and vision. He has leadership. And he sticks what he says.</>
Got examples of his leadership? I can't think of much other than what I have previously said.

So he can't play the sax, or tell jokes on the late night show. He can run a country, IMO.
Who do you want, a president who looks good on People and can have a good time at Hollywood parties, or a president that is serious and will get the job done?

I never said that. Joe Leiberman is unelectable precisely because he has no drive, no passion, no vision and no personality. If you think that the public does not care about personality - and rank it right up there with political stances - then I think you are misunderestimating them. Unfortunately Kerry has about the same personality issues as Gore did. But then he's up against the most lacklustre incumbent that I have ever seen, so who knows?
