...the facts are that this material was under lock and key and under supervision by the International Atomic Energy Agency and with the blessing and approval of the U.S. government! Its secured presence in Iraq was not in violation of any international law or UN resolutions. There was no risk whatsoever that this material could be used for WMDs. In fact, what the facts show is a 12 year history of Iraqi cooperation and compliance with international law with respect to the handling and storage of these materials. Trying to spin this as evidence of Iraqi WMDs justifying the war is utter hogwash.
